WIRELESS ACCESS POINT
Wireless access points (APs or WAPs) are specially configured nodes on wireless local area networks (WLANs). Access points act as a central transmitter and receiver of WLAN radio signals.

NETWORK GATEWAY
A network gateway is an internetworking system capable of joining together two networks that use different base protocols. A network gateway can be implemented completely in software, completely in hardware, or as a combination of both. Depending on the types of protocols they support, network gateways can operate at any level of the OSI model.

HI-SPEED INTERNET ACCESS
High-speed access or broadband refers to any type of transmission technique that carries several data channels over a common wire. DSL service, for example, combines separate voice and data channels over a single telephone line. In DSL, voice fills the low end of the frequency spectrum and data fills the high end. In networking, "broadband" usually refers to high-speed Internet access using this transmission technique. T1, DSL and cable modem are common broadband Internet technologies.

INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER (ISP)
An ISP is a company that supplies Internet connectivity to home and business customers. ISPs support one or more forms of Internet access.
